Before visiting Tutulari Avatar Gorge, it is important to book with accredited tour operators or local coordinators, as walk-in visits are generally not allowed within the protected ancestral domain area. Visitors should wear comfortable outdoor clothing, trekking sandals or shoes with good grip, and bring waterproof bags for gadgets and valuables. Since the activity involves off-road travel and rocky terrain, participants should prepare for dust, mud, and occasional river crossings. Bringing drinking water, snacks, and extra clothes is recommended. Always follow the instructions of local guides, respect the Aeta community and their ancestral lands, and practice Leave No Trace principles to help preserve the natural beauty of the gorge.
